Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans

If you store 1,320+ gallons of oil products above ground in 55 gallon (or bigger) containers, or 42,000+ gallons underground, you are required to have a Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan.

An SPCC Plan details how to prevent spills, keep any spills from entering navigable waters or adjoining shorelines and the measures to contain and mitigate any impacts from a spill. E&A’s environmental scientists and engineers work with clients through a series of discovery measures to identify the potential for a spill, and create a reference document to handle a spill, should one occur. E&A also provides monitoring services to provide ongoing assurance that your facility remains in compliance with regulations, thus protecting you from fines and other penalties.
