Omaha, NE

E&A was contacted by Certified Transmission for help with designing their SPCC (Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure) program. E&A, having previously worked with an affiliate company on their Industrial Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), met with the staff to determine how to implement the SPCC inside their Omaha plant.

Description

The facility qualified for a Tier I SPCC since it stores less than 10,000 gallons of oil or petroleum-based products in bulk containers greater than 55 gallons. E&A developed a Tier I SPCC in compliance with the Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plan Regulation 40 CFR 112. After analyzing the facility’s operations, E&A determined that the interior containment of the above-ground storage tanks (ASTs) and their spill response protocol was sufficient to comply with the SPCC. The SPCC was certified and put into operation in 2018.
