Topographical surveys are the base map for E&A’s preliminary plats, civil engineering and landscape planning designs. They show the elevations of the ground using contours and spot elevations and include the locations and elevations of existing features within the survey area such as trees, creeks, powerlines, pavement and buildings. With additional work, underground utilities such as sewers and waterlines can also be shown.
