Lincoln Road

Papillion, NE

Lincoln Road fulfilled the city’s master plan, providing a direct route from downtown Papillion to Werner Park. It also improved traffic flow by connecting 132nd and 84th Streets. A wetland delineation was conducted to determine if the project would affect any wetlands.

Description

E&A coordinated with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) on project design and impacts to an adjoining NRCS flood control structure.

This project required installation of 200 linear feet of twin 9’ x 9’ pre-cast concrete box culverts through a stream to the South Papillion Creek. A Nationwide Permit from the USACE was needed for impacts to 0.03 acres of wetlands and 55 linear feet of waterway.
