Casey's General Stores

Omaha, NE (several locations)

E&A provides annual Post Construction Stormwater Management Plan (PCSMP) inspections for six Casey’s General Stores in the Omaha metro. Casey’s is responsible for maintaining six Flexstorm Inlet Filters, three StormTech systems, and two Bio-retention basins to treat post-construction stormwater. StormTech systems collect and treat stormwater underground, while bio-retention basins collect and treat stormwater above ground. Inlet filters allow for effective stormwater treatment when there is limited space for post-construction stormwater management features or as an additional treatment layer.

Description

E&A was hired by Casey’s to conduct annual inspections and prepare inspection reports to meet the requirements outlined by the City of Omaha for six of the Casey’s locations in the metro area.

Note: As of July 1, 2008, the City of Omaha requires the installation of post-construction stormwater management features as part of new land development to comply with the requirements in their Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit. Post-construction stormwater management applies to land development that results in an increase of impervious surface area greater than 5,000 square feet.
