E&A produced design plans in just five months to expedite bidding and construction of the HWS Bridge which allows for more convenient access for lots within the western part of Andresen Meadows.
Description
East of 180th Street, on HWS Cleveland Boulevard is the new 80-foot long bridge designed by E&A. This attractive simple-span, pre-stressed I-girder concrete structure has a 28 foot wide roadway. The abutments are exposed steel sheet pile used as earth retention elements. Pedestrian walkways on both edges allow neighborhood access to the developing 180th Street corridor.
