E&A was hired to conduct the sediment and erosion control inspections for the Holiday Inn Express & Suites and Hampton Inn-Omaha Airport located in Carter Lake, Iowa. E&A conducted inspections and oversaw the compliance of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources NPDES General Permit #2 for the multi-phased project. Best Management Practices (BMPs) on the project included silt fence, inlet filters, rip rap and the construction of Post-Construction Stormwater Bio-Retention cells.
Description
The two hotels were constructed in multiple phases to meet passenger demands associated with Omaha’s airport. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites was constructed first, and was promptly followed by the Hampton Inn.
