Splash Park Grand Opening

Coyote Run neighbors have been watching plans for their new splash park take shape over the past year, and on May 26th their patience finally paid off! Municipal Services Project Manager Pat Pierce headed the project all the way up to the grand opening day.

“Working with the Coyote Run SID board, as well as all the contractors involved in this project has been a great experience,” Pat said. “Vortex did a wonderful job recommending layouts and features to incorporate while Dostals, Backlund Plumbing and all other contractors put forth a great effort to get this project from concept to reality.”

In addition to designing the splash park, E&A sent out a mailing to notify neighbors of the grand opening, which was posted on the Nextdoor app.  The excitement spread and adjoining neighborhoods received word.  When opening day came, the unseasonably hot weather only added to the great turnout.

Pat said, “It was fun to see parents and children getting excited and asking questions about when the splash park would open as we were finalizing the systems. We carefully planned opening day to make sure a majority of the community members could attend.  At 10 am on opening day, there were close to 50 people, and within an hour the number grew to over 100. It was so rewarding to see all the families enjoying this great new feature in their community!”
