Project Description
Certified Transmission contacted E&A to design an SPCC Plan for their Omaha facility, following previous collaboration on an affiliate’s Industrial SWPPP. The facility qualified for a Tier I SPCC because it stores less than 10,000 gallons of oil or petroleum products in bulk containers exceeding 55 gallons and does not have any individual aboveground storage tanks with a capacity greater than 5,000 gallons. After evaluating site operations, E&A determined that the interior containment mechanisms for the bulk storage containers and existing spill response procedures met regulatory requirements under 40 CFR §112. E&A developed, certified, and assisted in the implementation of the Tier I SPCC plan in 2018.
