Project Description

This culvert replacement helped regulate water in a nearby Sarpy County residential development, where there was flooding along houses, and alleviated erosion due to improperly sized existing culverts. A contra costa energy dissipater and twin 108” corrugated metal pipes were installed as part of the project improvements.

E&A also provided services for wetland delineation, a 404 permit, and stream assessment. The stream assessment determined the quality of the creek above and below the proposed work. Based on the analysis performed, the project is expected to improve the area’s vegetation, habitat, and water quality. This allowed us to minimize the need for stream mitigation.
