Project Description
An SPCC was developed for Enterprise Precast Concrete, Inc. in response to an inspection by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). E&A’s environmental services team met with the Enterprise Precast Concrete, Inc. staff to design an SPCC that complied with the Tier I SPCC regulations. Oil products utilized on site included form oils, release agents, fuel, and equipment fluids totaling approximately 1,650 gallons. Additional spill kits, deployable barriers, and upgrades to ASTs on site were all recommended. E&A incorporated the procedures outlined in the SPCC into an Industrial Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) designed for the facility at the same time. The distinct comprehensive plans with correlated inspection procedures allow for improved compliance and more efficient monitoring of site conditions.
