Project Description
As part of 24 CFR 50.4, The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is required to comply with all environmental requirements and guidelines regarding historic properties, endangered species, water quality, air quality and flood management. E&A completed an Environmental Assessment report complying with the HUD Decision Making Process for the proposed renovation and redevelopment of an abandoned, six-story apartment building. This assessment included public involvement, interagency cooperation, evaluation of practicable alternatives, assessment of impacts and mitigation. The prepared assessment met the HUD requirements and the project was ultimately constructed.
