Project Description
Industrial facilities in Nebraska may obtain authorization to discharge stormwater under the NPDES General Permit for Industrial Activities. E&A has supported compliance at the Ardent Mills facilities for over a decade, initially developing SWPPPs for ConAgra in 2012, re-permitting the grain mills in 2016, and updating the SWPPPs in 2017 after Ardent Mills began operations. The facilities are permitted under SIC Code 2041, Sector U – Food and Kindred Products. Each SWPPP is designed to minimize stormwater contact with bulk flour, bagged products, and mill feed loading areas.
