Hawaiian Village Street Paving

Sarpy County, NE

Residents of Hawaiian Village planned to make improvements to their streets and discussed two options brought to them by E&A. They decided to repave the entire SID, an undertaking which required extensive coordination as it impacted 185 residents in a carefully phased process.

After the meeting last night, I really needed to reflect upon what wonderful support our SID gets from E&A, Urban Utilities, Brian and Brianna. I was not instrumental in selecting these true professionals to help us out, but am grateful that past trustees did us all a favor. Thank you all for what you do for us!!!

Description

E&A repaved 2.1 miles of street in a five-stepped, phased operation that involved removal and replacement of half of each street at a time. Coordination of schedules and communication was complicated and immensely important, as access to and from homes varied by the day. Trash pickup (by three different companies), mail and newspaper delivery and school bus services were also affected. E&A coordinated closely with the SID Board of Directors and residents on a daily basis to resolve daily challenges.
