The Baxter Auto complex is comprised of three car dealerships and a detail center. Each site required individual grading while tying into an overall master plan that included shared drainage with adjacent lots and construction phasing. With creative solutions such as stepping the buildings and integrating retaining walls, even with significant fall across the site, E&A was able to maintain acceptable slopes for each dealership while balancing the earthwork.
Description
The addition of the Baxter Auto Dealerships brought Audi, Volkswagen and Subaru to the expansive Village Pointe auto complex, located on Omaha’s western edge. The civil site design involved 1,900 parking stalls and extensive public streetscape amenities, integrated landscaping, brick pavers, colored concrete, benches, bike racks and lighted bollards.
