Project Description
This Holt County BRO bridge replacement project is located southeast of Atkinson, NE, on the Elkhorn River. This existing bridge was replaced with a 130-foot single-span NU Girder bridge. A new roadway was laid out 600 feet of each side on each side of the bridge to accommodate the three-foot grade raise. Drainage improvements, rebuilding the existing driveways and field entrances, and installing new erosion-control riprap and guardrail were all included.
