Breaking Records

E&A teamed up with Westside High School senior, John Lang, for a very special project this Memorial Day weekend. Lang earned a spot in the Guinness World Records for the “Largest Image Built out of Interlocking Plastic Bricks” by building a 60 x 30-foot American flag.

E&A’s Survey Department Manager, Jason Headley, measured and officially recorded the size of the finished flag for the Guinness World Records submission, assisted by E&A Surveyor Rodney Arellano-Alvarado.

Several volunteers spent their Memorial Day building the flag. Among them was E&A Civil Engineer Caleb Beasley, accompanied by his children. It was a fun day of bonding and breaking records for all.
