Kyle Vohl, PE

Chairman of the Board

“If you make your professional relationships just about work, you miss out on the benefits that come from having a genuine connection with people.”

In more than two decades at E&A, Kyle Vohl has emerged as a leader within the firm and the civil engineering community. Since his first days at E&A as a college intern, Kyle’s role has evolved from residential development civil design engineer to project manager for residential and commercial projects, and now to a principal with the company.
“It’s rewarding to see projects go from concepts to communities where families are living. I have many friends who live, shop and work in these neighborhoods. Knowing that they are going about their lives and raising their children there is pretty special.”
Kyle also plays an active role in the civil engineering community, having served as president for Nebraska’s chapter of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NeSPE) and a mentor for the Society of American Military Engineers Student Initiative Mentoring Program. He has also been a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers since 1995. He has also serve a Nebraska House Delegate for NeSPE, giving him a chance to guide and impact legislation that shapes the future of the engineering profession.
