Project Description
An SPCC Plan was developed for Valley Corporation to comply with 40 CFR §112 and to support the facility’s environmental compliance initiatives for fueling and equipment maintenance operations at its headquarters in Valley, Nebraska. As the company’s central hub for general contracting activities, the facility oversees extensive equipment maintenance, on-site fueling, and construction material storage. With more than 24,000 gallons of diesel fuel, engine oil, and hydraulic oil on-site, the location plays a critical role in powering and maintaining a large fleet of heavy construction equipment. As part of the SPCC Plan, Valley Corporation upgraded select existing tanks to new double-walled units meeting Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Specification No. 142, supplied by Newberry Tanks.
