Project Description
This 1.1-mile project widened a gravel roadway into a 3-lane rural concrete section, constructed to its ultimate profile to ensure adequate intersection sight distance. An existing triple 10’x5’x43’ box culvert was extended 29 feet in both directions, and multiple temporary roads were constructed to maintain access for local businesses and residents.
The project also included over 1,800 linear feet of storm sewer pipe. An 8-foot gravity block retaining wall was installed to preserve the location of an existing transmission pole. E&A coordinated with Douglas County and six adjacent SID neighborhoods.
