Zach Jilek, E&A’s Environmental Services Department Manager, was honored as one of Midlands Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 at an awards ceremony on December 15. This recognition celebrates young professionals making a difference in Omaha, Sarpy County and Council Bluffs.
Zach began his E&A career in 2004, bringing with him, environmental services with a focus on erosion control. Since then, his department has grown to a team of six responsible for industrial permitting, Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and percolation testing, wetland mitigation and delineation services
In 2012, Zach became a company stockholder and in 2013, he was elected to the Board of Directors. He also serves on the board of directors for the Great Rivers Chapter of The International Erosion Control Association and is a member of the Omaha Jaycees.
