Along with engineering and SID management services, E&A was hired to conduct sediment and erosion control inspections for this project. In 2020, a third phase of development began. E&A has inspected all of the erosion and sediment control BMPs (Best Management Practices) throughout the project, which has included sediment basins, silt fence and inlet filters. E&A has coordinated with Sarpy County, the Army Corps of Engineers and neighboring landowners to facilitate all aspects of the project’s development.
The Granite Falls North Residential Development has consisted of the construction of 179 residential lots in two phases. Phases 3-5 will consist of an additional 223 lots. The project has also involved the improvement of Lincoln Road (which bisects phases 1 and 2) in conjunction with Sarpy County.
