Project Description

This project widened 114th Street from a two-lane to four-lane divided roadway over a 0.9-mile stretch. Two new southbound lanes were constructed west of the existing road, separated by a surfaced median.

The roundabout at 114th and Lincoln Road was also removed and replaced with a signalized intersection. The improvements included 15,000 square yards of pavement, 800 feet of storm sewer, and a new right-turn lane. Existing OPPD transmission power poles were avoided through coordinated design, and overall, the project improved capacity, safety, and drainage along this key Sarpy County corridor.
