E & A Consulting Group, Inc. recently named corporate officers for the 2017-2018 year. Mark Westergard, PE and Tom Nussrallah, PE will continue as Chairman of the Board and President, respectively. Jason Thiellen was named Chief Executive Officer and Kyle Vohl, PE was appointed Secretary.
“I have held the CEO position at E&A for 17 years and had some great successes,” says Mark, “but change is good in our industry and Jason will bring a lot of vision and energy to the CEO position.”
Jason, who joined E&A in 2006 and became a shareholder in 2012, manages the firm’s Planning Department. He has a Master’s Degree in Community & Regional Planning and a Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture/Landscape Design, both from the University of Nebraska. He is a member of the American Planning Association and serves on the Sarpy County Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.
Kyle, who received a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska, is a senior project manager specializing in land development. He joined E&A in 1997 as an intern and was named a shareholder in 2012. He’s become a leader within the engineering industry, having served as president for Nebraska’s chapter of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NeSPE) and a mentor for the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), Student Initiative Mentoring Program. He has been a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers since 1995 and is the current Nebraska House Delegate for NeSPE, giving him a chance to guide and impact legislation that will shape the engineering profession.
